The Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University supports healthcare students and professionals by enhancing their medical education and clinical training. It achieves this by improving their skills through the use of the latest technologies in medical simulation and virtual reality.

CSCC Supports medical student training and clinical experience, through enhancing the skills of both students and healthcare practitioners by utilizing advanced technologies in simulation-based medical education. By incorporating state-of-the-art tools and evidence-based practices, it contributes to improving clinical skills, competence, and safety. This ultimately enhances the quality and readiness of healthcare practitioners, helping them develop critical thinking abilities and clinical competence, which reflects in better patient care and safety.

Patient Standardized Healthcare Program

This unit aims to enhance healthcare training outcomes by providing and training standardized patients to support Healthcare Colleges and all units within the Clinical.

Healthcare Simulation Technology

This section aims to enhance the realism of educational processes for simulation-based activities by utilizing moulage technology to simulate various injuries and diseases, medical modeling to design training products, and low-cost simulators to achieve the educational objectives of training courses.

The Continuous Professional Development Unit

The Continuous Professional Development Unit is responsible for organizing training activities to support the professional development of healthcare practitioners. It designs and offers courses and programs while recruiting experienced and qualified professionals to meet the evolving training needs in the healthcare field. The primary goal is to enhance clinical skills, competence, and safety, improve the quality of healthcare practice, and reduce medical errors.

The Life Support Unit

The Medical Skills and Simulation Center is an internationally accredited training center, recognized by the American Heart Association and the American Emergency Medical Technicians Association. It offers both basic and advanced courses in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, injury management, first aid, and emergency response. These courses are designed for healthcare professionals as well as various community groups, promoting awareness and health knowledge focused on life-saving skills.
